Thank you to all our amazing members for your kindness in supporting our local community through donations of tins and dried food to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at our Cafe. The SVP Society offers support, advice, and material assistance, including providing groceries from their food bank, assistance with heating costs, and help with small dental/medical and other bills. With such generous support, we'll definitely need a bigger donation box next month!

Heartfelt thanks to all who supported charity, Causeway, by donating basic food supplies for their store cupboard. Our collection box was overflowing! Your donations will make a difference to mothers with babies or young children who may find themselves homeless. For those who missed the February Cafe, don’t worry! We will be collecting non-perishable, within-date items for local food banks in March, April & May.

We felt the PSJ love at our Cafe in February. Madeleine treated us to her delicious pancakes & we were delighted to showcase beautifully unique sea glass & watercolour pictures from Home By the Sea Arts. Thanks to our in-house florist, Marie, for her stunning arrangements!

It was lovely to see so many of our Members at Chateau Vermont for our first PSJ singing group earlier today. We cant think of a better way to brighten up a dull and drizzly Monday morning. Led by professional vocalist Jessica Lloyd, with Paul on piano, we sang You’ve Got a Friend, Stand by Me and Chiquitita! Quite nicely too! As well as being a lot of fun singing has been shown to release the brain's natural pain killer which may help to manage persistent pain. Our next session is on Monday 11th March and we’d love to welcome more Members there. Please email psjersey15@gmail.com to find out more.

With the generous support of the Jersey Community Foundation with funds from WO Street, we have recruited Kate as our Charity Administrator & Development Officer. In January Kate visited JT to collect a much appreciated donation: a refurbished laptop & mobile phone. This essential equipment will enhance our charity's operations & help us support our members more effectively. A big thank you to the Jersey Community Foundation & JT Community Giving for their support, it means a lot.

Thank you to everyone that joined our festivities, we shared tea and cake, handmade cards and crafts, homemade marmalade and chutney and lots of laughs together.

At PSJ we think of St Clement as our 'home' parish as we use the parish hall for so many of our events and activities. After Storm Ciaran we were shocked by the damage caused to our lovely island but especially to the parish of St Clement. We've also been amazed at the wonderful community response to the disaster. We have donated £100 to the Storm Ciaran St Clement's Emergency Fund.

We were delighted to welcome our new patron, Dr Karen Kyd, wife of His Excellency Vice Admiral Jerry Kyd CBE, to one of our gentle exercise sessions in Millbrook Park. Dr Kyd had an opportunity to chat to members and our pain specialist physiotherapists and to see how we can help islanders with chronic pain. She also met Skittles who was very well behaved!

A huge thank you for the anonymous donation which enabled the charity to buy new aprons for our PSJ cafe, social events and activities.

A huge thank you to Jersey Telecoms and the JT Community Giving scheme for donating a laptop to PSJ to enable us to keep in touch with members.

The raffle and jam sales at our Spring lunch raised £97.00, thank you to Marie for organising all the prizes.

HAVE YOU EVER WANTED TO TRY YOGA BUT NEVER HAD THE CONFIDENCE TO JOIN A CLASS? PSJ are delighted to announce a new 4-week Gentle Yoga course starting at the end of May. The course will be run by Rosy, occupational therapist and Yoga Alliance qualified yoga teacher.

Our new patron is Dr Karen Kyd, the wife of the lieutenant Governor, His Excellency Vice Admiral Jeremy Kyd CBE.
